RAMADAN, the happiest month for every Muslim in the world. The month, in which the sins of every Muslim are forgiven if they pray to Almighty Allah. But why is "Ramadan the month of benefit"? There are some reasons behind it though which are-

1. Muslims while fasting can feel more compassionate towards the less fortunate and underprivileged people
2. Muslims purify their body often while fasting and can become more grateful
3. Muslims can build self-defense and can able to control their anger
4. Moreover, there is no penalty in Islam for breaking a fast unintentionally

**Children are not obligated to fast until they reach puberty**

So, how can you prepare your soul and other people for the month of Ramadan?
Let's see in which way we can get ready and what are DO'S and DONT'S of Ramadan?

THE DO’s:-

 1. ENGAGE IN EDUCATING YOURSELF

- you have to gain your knowledge from Quran, Hadith, Tafseer, etc. besides this, if you have any other books from which you can gain good knowledge about Islam, you should spend your time behind those books.

- you can also spend your time listening to podcasts and Islamic talk shows and also watching my videos

2. FIX YOUR SALAH

- Of course, it is the duty of every Muslim to pray the obligatory prayers every day. Salah is the second pillar and Fasting is the third. So, we have to keep our Salah time always fixed.
- Our Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said us to use our free time in Salah instead of gossiping

3. END HARAM RELATIONSHIP

- I know this part is really awkward, bitter but the truth is actually bitter, you know. For every Muslim individual, it is a must to end their haram relationship if any person is in it and must stay away from this type of relationship if someone is not in it.
- So, if you are in a haram relationship, this is the time to end this relationship here. Because, if you love someone more than Allah, then it will compromise your relationship with Allah.

4. SAVE MONEY FOR CHARITY

- Please don't try to spend your money on buying unnecessary or useless things in Ramadan because this is the month where you will understand how a person can lead their life with less money. So, start saving now!
- One more thing, it is a must give reminder that I have a charity group and if you want you can donate to us there.

5. SET ACHIEVABLE GOALS

-This is a must to do because we always should have a to-do list and we have to work according to that.
- Now, what we can do is we have to write our to-do list the night before the next day. The next morning you have to rise earlier and take your shower, if you have some work to do complete that within the routine and then complete your salah, read tasbeeh, and read Quran according to your to-do list.

THE DONT'S

1. DONT PLAY MUSIC AT ANY TIME

- Try to skip music at the time of Ramadan. I think it will be best for you because actually, you'll not get time to play music at the time of Ramadan. But, if you want to play music try to be alone and please stay away from loud music and disturbing others. But, I'll suggest not to play music.
- Music can be a distraction from your Quran recitation, Salah performance, Your work at home, and even other things. And, as at the time of Ramadan you'll remain busy most of the time reading Tasbeeh, Quran, then if you listen to music, those tones then lyrics will compromise with your salah and Quran recitation.

2. DONT SHOUT OR TALK LOUDER

- This is natural actually, when you are fasting then you will not get that type of energy to talk louder or shout. But if you shout or talk louder, then you'll start feeling unwell or you'll feel tired.
- Remember, you have to save your energy as much as possible because sometimes you have to do your homework and you need energy for that. Also, you have to read Quran most of the time of the day, you have to perform your Salah, then you have to do your household works, so you need energy for all those things.

3. DONT SMOKE, CHEW GUM, OR EAT IN PUBLIC

- I think the situation will be better if you ignore these things in Ramadan. Because first of all people will have a bad impression of you and secondly, these types of things like if you do publicly, then it suits the places like theatre, malls or cinema halls
- Also, try to ignore these things while sunrise or sunset, because those are the times your Duwa and your Fasting, will be fulfilled

4. DONT DANCE, SING OR BE INTOXICATED IN PUBLIC

- As I'm saying that, you should not do these things in public, but my suggestion will be, stay away from these things while you are alone too. BECAUSE ALMIGHTY ALLAH IS SEEING EVERYTHING AND YOUR GOAL IS TO MAKE HIM HAPPY, NOT PUBLIC
- And in our countries and other parts of the world, the bars, pubs, etc. remain closed at the time of Ramadan. So, keep yourself pure

5. DONT SLEEP LATE AT NIGHT

- This is a must not for Ramadan month only, but include this thing in your daily life. If you sleep early at night, then you will wake up early for Sehri and also can perform Tahajjud if you want.
-You will get time to make your food and get ready for Sehri. Then you'll overall get time to finish your all work before sunrise.

What women are allowed to & not to do on periods/menses?

Can women stop their period taking pills?

We all know about menstruation that is, every month the uterus lining gets thick to prepare for a fertilized egg if a woman gets pregnant but if it doesn't get fertilized then the lining gets released from the body as blood. This is called menstruation. So this is a natural process given by our Almighty Allah. And of course, this should not be stopped from releasing because it is harmful to the body if it stays for a long time inside. But it stops naturally when a woman gets pregnant. So in my opinion, pills should not be taken until there is no suggestion from the doctor. Otherwise, it is not necessary to take pills. Even science and doctors, now suggest that if we deliberately stop period, then the situation can be detrimental. If a woman intends to do Hajj, then in my opinion, she should calculate her period days means when it will start and end and according to that counting, she can go for Hajj or Umrah.

Can women pray on their periods?

At the time of menses, women can do all types of worship except praying, fasting, circumambulating the Kaaba, and Ehtekaf. If women have menses on the last 10 days of Laylat'ul' Qadr, then she can do Duwa, because Prophet Muhammed (sm) said,

"Duwa is one of the best forms of Ibadah(supplication)" (Tirmidhi hadith,2370)

Also, women can do:-

- Can seek forgiveness from Allah saying 'Astagfirullah'

- Can do Dhikrs like 'Subhanallahi walhamdulillahi wala ilaha illallahu wallahuakbar'

- Listen the Quran and also read (But it will be better if you don't touch the Quran at the time of menses)

10 things women can do on their periods:-

1. Greet everyone with salam. Our Prophet Muhammed (sm) said -

"You will not enter paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I tell you about something, which if you do, will make you love one another? Greet each other with salam." (Muslim)

2. Smile and make other's smile

3. Being helpful to others

4. Listening/ reciting Quran

5. Visiting a sick

6. Reading Islamic books and articles;

7. Dawah to other people

8. Do Istighfar in abundance

9. Visiting a relative

10. Making Duwa for those people whom you love and care about

"Duwa for stomach pain"

Put your hand on your stomach and recite this Duwa 41 times:

لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُون "

"La feeha ghawlun wala hum AAanha yunzafoona"

Not in it (is) bad effect and not they from it will be intoxicated.)
