HOW TO CHANGE YOURSELF? Book review-03 From "Be smart with Muhammad (sm)"

Welcome to my 3rd book review which is from the book "Be smart with Muhammad (sm)". This book is written by Dr. Hashim Al Awadi and it has its Bengali translation too. In this era of ours, just think and say, how many individuals are there who just don't want to be SMART? Who doesn't wants to impress other people with their SMARTNESS? I don't think there is any person out there. So I think, our Prophet (sm) can be a great model for you all because He was the smartest person of all time. Because the category he had in himself is enough to follow to become SMART. Also to mention, the ways that are mentioned in this book are also similar to the ways that are followed by this generation of people. And the ways that our Prophet (sm) used to follow like 1400+ years back, those ways are still notable. I have divided the tips into some key points. Read further to BECOME SMART.
KEY POINT-1: Learning from family
1. In this book, the advantages of having a joint family is given. Because in a joint family there are many persons of your own from whom you can learn. But in this generation, there exists less number of joint family. No worries if you don't have a joint family. You can learn from a role model of your life or family, from your friend who wants your betterment, etc.
2. The things that our prophet (sm) learned from his family and his ancestor are like-
"If you want to bring a change in your life, the energy that you need should come from your inner-self"
Another notable point that he learned from his ancestor is-
"To help people or to do Ibadat (anything that makes Allah happy), you don't have to be a millionaire"
3. Now, one thing to observe, there are roles of female members in our prophet (sm)'s life. For example, Maa Ameena (mother of Prophet (sm). She was a widow since her husband died when her age was only 20. But she didn't get married after then, she was serving her child for her whole life. Girls of this generation can also learn from the women of the Prophet's life.
KEY POINT-2: Let you control your environment, not vice-versa
1. This often happens with us that is our society forces us to do the things through saying that "you have to do this because everyone does", "this is must-do! it has been running generation after generation". But what you have to do is, IGNORE ALL THIS. Because, if you start listening to all this, then your environment will start controlling you which will take you away from your success. You have to work according to your ambition, follow your role model, follow your rules.
2. There are so many places in the world where good plus bad work, both happen. But that doesn't mean you have to walk that way. When you will understand the inner you, you can easily control your environment. And all these tips. You can get it from this book.
3. Now just think, what are great people of this world doing? How they are becoming successful in their life? It is because they are smart and following these simple rules.
KEY POINT-3: Childhood-teenage (The crucial step)
1. This stage is one of the crucial moment of our life when you step from childhood to teenage and this is the stage at which, parents and children both should be careful. Because equal contributions from both the side are a must. Like in the book 'Be smart with Muhammad (sm), it is said that our prophet had a very lovely and caring family at his teenage who used to take care of him when he lost his parents. Now anyone can think that, after all, he was a rasul, so he has to be smart. But no! He was not a prophet since after his birth. He was characterized as a Rasul because he has those categories which a perfect human should have.
2. Now, how should parents support their children and how children should listen to their parents take care of them, those all tips are mentioned in this book.
3. There is a chapter in the book about Prophet Muhammad (sm)'s teenage life where you'll get to see that His uncle and aunt took care of him like their own children. And the most interesting part is, there are summaries after every chapter of this book which will help you to make a comparison between your life and Prophet Muhammad (sm)'s life
4. There are five major ways given in this book which is applicable for both parents and children to read.
5. From this chapter I get to know that, if you start to grow up your intelligence and inner voice from a teenage level, you'll end up being a good person and can easily represent yourself in front of other people.
KEY POINT-4: Balance=Productivity
1. This point is most important when you become a youngster and cross the other levels of your life. When our Prophet Muhammad (sm) was like 20-30 years old, he used to build up his intelligence and creativity and tried to solve problems. He had become the of that era. Now how can we use this tip? If anyone in society is in a problem, we can try to help them through our creativity and intelligence. This can make us smart and also people will feel attracted towards our goodness.
2. Even, our Prophet Muhammad (sm) was a great businessman of that time because of course of his intelligence and creativity. And for this reason, He got his life partner Khadija (Ra) who was the love of his life. She was impressed by seeing the honesty and creativity of his work. So you can also get the love of your life if you are smart enough like Muhammad (sm)
3. The end topic of this blog, is FRIENDSHIP. We all are attracted to our friends in many ways but you have to also take care that you have friendship with those people who wants your better life, you can be a good guide of your life. Sometimes, you can also learn from your friend circle, but what are you actually learning, that matters. So, try to get reviews from other people about your friend circle by asking them if you are becoming better or worse than before.
